Q: Music keeps randomly playing/pausing and keep activating Siri with Apple headphone in

So about a month ago I bought a pair of brand new Apple ear buds from the Apple Store, they were working fine until this last week they kept turn my music on and off randomly and activating Siri. First is wasn't happening often but now it happening constantly and it's really gotten on my nerves. I was looking through all the discussions but they were having the problem with non Apple head phones. This has never happen to me before with the other Apple hear buds that I have owned. I think i might have just got a lemon but I really don't want to go and buy another pair.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1

Apple accessories are warrantied up to a year from their purchase date even if purchased separately from the iPhone which in that case, they follow the warranty period of the iPhone. Feel free to Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support. You can either book a Genius Bar appointment about your headphones or have them replaced through express shipping by setting up the replacement over the phone. It sounds as if the remote part on your headphones is somehow jammed physically inside as that controls everything you've described and it only continues when the headphones are plugged in. They'll be able to set you up with a replacement, free of any final cost to you so long as your headphones weren't thrown out or obviously abused.
