Q: Apps won't download after deletion

Hi,

 

I wasn't able to transfer photos from my iphone5c to my Mac so ran out of storage and ended up deleting my superfluous apps. That is now sorted, and I want to reinstall whatsapp, spotify, messenger etc. When I click the cloud in the App Store to download them from iCloud nothing happens, or the loading circle comes up but it never loads.

Have tried logging in and out of icloud, switching phone on and off, resetting network settings and wifi is definately connected to Internet.

 

Any advice?! Thanks!

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. 


    I understand from your post that you are unable to download your previous apps after deleting them from your iPhone. I know how important your apps are to you and you've done some great troubleshooting steps. 

    I also recommend signing out of the iTunes and App Store from Settings > iTunes and App Store. If you are an Apple Music Subscriber, this will remove all your offline music and you will need to download it for offline use again.
