You re-download it from the app store using the same ID it was purchased / registered with to begin with. What do you mean it "wasn't there"?

Sign in to the Mac App Store click on Purchased Tab, if you have previously installed Keynote it will be listed:

Then click on the Install button next to Keynote to download and install to the Applications folder.

it was pre installed to my com so it doesn't appear on the purchased tab.

In the App Store, a "purchase" describes an application that was supplied, either pre-installed, downloaded, at no cost or a paid transaction.

Are there any applications at all listed in purchases?

Are you logged into the store with the correct Apple ID?

Try typing "Keynote" in the search field then click the Keynote icon which should take you to the Keynote page.

Click on the button if showing open or install,   if is shows a price,  phone Apple Support.
