Can we change the location of the CACHE folder in the computer we use to sync the iPad?

Do you want to move the cache to an external drive?

If you are comfortable with the Terminal and shell commands, you could move the iPod Photo cache to an external drive and replace the folder in the library by a symbolic link to the moved folder.

But it would probably less trouble to delete this folder from the Aperture library after each sync.
