Q: Keynote right indent behaviour

Hi,

I'm currently trying to replicate a tediously manually-sized heading in a box in Keynote (v6.6.2). The bottom image being the old hard-to-edit version, the top image being the new version created with only text. These headings are a variety of lengths, of course.

It's quite easy to nail as you can see in the top image, with the exception of the padding on the right side of the element. Because I don't want to have to manually size the width of the text box, it seems like the right indent does nothing—as you can see by the short right-hand edge of the top image, compared to its left-hand side.

Does anyone know why this is the case? I'm sure it's quite a long-shot, but is there a fix to this which doesn't include manually sizing the width of the text box to activate the right indent?

Let me know if that didn't make sense, either!

Thanks,

Rowan

What made this tedious to achieve? I created something to match in a few seconds,

Visually the only difference between the text formatting is the top box is left aligned, the bottom box is centre aligned:

As I mentioned in my post the original text at the bottom of my image is the annoying one. I've managed to replicate its behaviour, with the exception of the right-hand side.

I changed the text alignment to centred and it didn't change anything for me. Have you managed to achieve this with any tweaks other than I mentioned under the text "layout" tab?

    Thanks,
