Do I turn my magic mouse on or off while charging ?

Q: do you leave the magic mouse on or off while charging ?
Leave it turned on. It charges at a similar rate as a Macbook pro charges. Within the first two minutes it should be enough to operate. However, are you using a Magic mouse 2 with an imac?
