Q: Trouble with BT audio and i Phone

Trouble with car bluetooth connection and incoming calls on iPhone 6.

BT Audio is not available for in-coming calls on I Phone 6.  Software is up to date with IOS 9.3.2   BT Audio works with music, audio book apps but not with the in-coming portion of phone calls. I thought it had something to do with iCloud since it was out of storage space and I started losing apps. (Waze)---updated iCloud, bought more space---problem still there. In order to hear I have to turn on the phone speaker.  If I hit car audio media on the phone, no sound comes out and it mutes music.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2

    Greetings, pfmp!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. My understanding of your problem is you can't hear your callers on your iPhone when it's connected to the bluetooth feature in your car. I really enjoy using my car's bluetooth connection for hands-free calling. If you're not hearing through your car's stereo, that defeats the purpose. I'll be glad to help!

Thanks for your help!  Got really good information!  I have a feeling my troubles are caused by the IOS 9.3.2 update since everything was fine until then.  The information you provided has answered several of my questions about what happens if I do this or that. Really appreciate your help.
