No. The iPod nano can only play media that is loaded onto it.

Thanks for your kind comment. How about the ipod touch? Can it play media that is located in the airport time capsule?
An iPod touch can play media loaded on to it, or from a shared iTunes library, or from your iCloud Music Library if you subscribe to Apple Music or iTunes Match. An iTunes library may potentially have some of its media files stored on a time capsule, or perhaps an attached drive, but I can't say for certain not having used one.
