The SIM does not have to be active; most often it is the SIM that was in it when the carrier account was deactivated. If I had 32K photos on any digital camera I would be sure to back them up; if you didn't (and Apple provides 5 ways to back up photos) they are gone.

Jun 30, 2016 7:22 PM in response to MACKabiVIPer42by MACKabiVIPer42,I bought Samsung Galaxy S3 in 2013 of February my iphone 4 32 GB was STILL WORKING and I was STILL USING IT till 2015 of August as iPod now tell me why isn't it not working now after Apple iTunes told me to plug it in on iPhone it showed photo of iTunes and plug which means to plug in to iTunes on my PC I did for 31/2 Hours on August of 2015 after that the iphone will not turn on at all. Now why could I use iPhone for two years as iPod till Apple told me plug it in to iTunes then it did not work since then that is the questio. In 2014 I got another Android phone my S3 became iPod it is still working as iPod still got apps on it i still use it for photos apps and YOU TUBE since 2014
