Q: Cellular Connectivity issues with iPhone 6 plus (128GB)?

I have an iPhone 6 plus (128GB) I have never had problems with it until about two weeks ago. When the top left hand corner was showing "searching" and instead of either not finding service or finding it it stayed on searching and this is in the middle of the national capital region where I have had service before. it has the slightest bend in it because its too bulky of course, I suspect the antenna may have been disconnected...? is that possible? or does anyone have input?
