    Hi Joe Thomas3,

It seems like you have some questions about the Reminders app on the iPhone. I have used the Reminders app before and it's great. I will be happy to go over some information for you.

This resource goes over some great information on the Reminders app.

Use Reminders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Especially this section that goes over a Reminders list:

    Organize your reminders

Want to separate your reminders into categories like work, personal, or school? Create a Reminders list to keep things organized.

    Create a new Reminders list:

    1. Swipe down from the top of a Reminders list, then tap  .
    2. Tap List, then select the account that you want to add the list to.
    3. Name your list and choose a color.
    4. When you're finished, tap Done.

To add a reminder to a list:

    1. Go to a Reminders list and tap on a reminder.
    2. Tap  or swipe left over the reminder and tap More.
    3. Tap List and choose the list you want to add the reminder to.
    4. When you're finished, tap Done.

To switch between lists, tap the name of the Reminders list or swipe down from the top of the Reminders list.

At the top of the screen in the Reminders app, there is a search bar where you can search. Here are some additional articles that go over iCloud Reminders.

    iCloud: Reminders overview

iCloud: Create, edit, and delete reminders

iCloud: Add and delete reminder lists

    iCloud: Share a reminder list

    Have a great weekend.

Thank you. But I don't see a way to sort items in a list. In one of your examples you have a reminder named Groceries that has14 items in it. It is these 14 items that I want to organize alphabetically and eliminate duplicates.

If this is a real grocery list, either some items will repeat over and over. How many times do you want "bread' on your grocery list? So, you don't want to add it again, and if the list grows to 30 instead of 14, it would be nice to be able to sort them.  Actually, it would great if you told Siri to add Bread to your Grocery list and Siri replies that it is already there but it will unhide it for you.

    Thanks,

    Joey
