Q: Icloud has incorrect email

So had to update my email address for Icloud / Itunes. On one of the phones it still has the old email address on it, but it won't let you change it, or delete the account from there because you have to enter the password in order to get access to turning off find my iphone. Haven't found a solution yet as delete account isn't an option since I can't enter the old password.

Do you have a question?

You are facing an Activation Lock.

There isn''t a solution unless you are the original owner of the device and can provide a proof of that purchase to Apple.

If you still have access to the old email address you can change your Apple ID back to that and then sign out of the device giving you trouble and then change your Apple ID back to the email you would like.

Use your current Apple/iCloud ID password to sign the old ID out of iCloud. Then sign back in with the updated ID.
