Q: I have tried to erase all contents and data but i keep getting the same message" "verification failed, There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server" I know the log-on and password are correct as i am logged on through my PC

1. In Settings go to App & iTunes (even if you're just trying to use iCloud).
2. Click on your Apple ID at the top.
3. A popup will allow you to sign out, do that. ( I had to do two attempts at this)
4. Sign back in.
5. Try again
6. ... it just worked for me!

Hi Daveprof, I just tried this and when I tried to sign back in it gave me the same error again. Do you have any other suggestions?

Ecited to say never mind! I figured it out. Thanks for the info!!
