Greyed out app can not be deleted.

I Have an iPhone 5 with 64Gb of memory. An app called MyKPN recently ran an update an now the icon remains in te "waiting" status. It does no longer start nor continue to install. The app show to be greyed out. When I want to delete it I can call up and push the 'X' and it will give me the option "delete". However, when I select "delete" nothing happens. In het appstore the MyKPN app shows as fully installed. But when I push "start" from the appstore again nothing happens. The app does not sync via iTunes nor can it be deleted there. Please help!

Hello Sandstorm1975,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post, I understand that one of your apps is showing a status of waiting even though the App Store shows it has been installed. Also, you are not able to delete it even after pressing your finger to the app and selecting the X. I recommend using the steps in the following article to help resolve this issue:

If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

Best Regards
