iPhone stuck in DFU mode and PC won't recognize device after failed installation of iOS 9.3.2

So today I decided to upgrade my 9.2 firmware to the latest 9.3.2 through iTunes. Everything was going fine. Both PC and iTunes recognized my phone and the upgrade process was going smoothly, until I was suddenly met by an error saying that the update failed, which was then followed by an immediate Blue-screen of Death, with the error message pointing at "asmtxhci.sys", the XHCI Host Controller Driver from ASMedia Technology Inc. My phone then got stuck in DFU mode, and my PC and iTunes refused to recognize my device. I checked Device Manager and noticed this strange sight:
User uploaded file

It somehow lists my device as two separate. I tried to install the drivers manually from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers". I managed to install the drivers for the DFU mode (but it didn't change anything) for the first device but when I tried for the second device I was met by error 10 "Device couldn't start" or something like that.

I do not know how to proceed from here. I've tried so many tricks, read so many other posts, but I haven't seen anyone with my problems so that's why I turned here. I am half-panicking right now...

This sounds like a rather nasty problem - maybe a conflict with ASMedia USB and Apple Mobile Device Driver. If you do a Google search on "asmtxhci.sys" you will may reports of this causing the Blue-screen of Death (BSOD). There are some recommended fixes, but I am not going to suggest any as I am not familiar with any of them and they could cause various other (even more serious) problems. Good Luck!!!
