Q: Is there a faster way to hang up, then unlocking my iphone 6?  and browsing to the phone screen?

It can be akward, you say good bye, they say good bye and then there you are sitting on the phone still trying to unlock it, browse to the phone and and hit the hang up button.  What happened to the good old days of a single button to hang up not burried behind security and app screens.

I'm sure I'm missing something on my iphone 6 iOS v 9.3.2 isn't there a faster way to hang up from a call?

    Hi there TelmedTim,

I understand that you'd like to end a phone call without having to unlock your iPhone and opening the phone app. Next time, try pressing the Sleep/Wake button, and that should do the trick.

    I hope this helps you!

Thanks CoolBobcat,  this does work for me so long as I don't exit the phone screen or lock the screen,. Once I've done this, the sleep/wake button doesn't work in this way at least on my phone.  Is there a special trick for when the screen is locked?

    Hi again TelemedTim!

I understand that tapping the Sleep/Wake button once doesn't work for you. I did this test this out on my end, and it seems to be working fine for me. I do apoligize about not being able to completely help you out the first time. Next time you end a call, try tapping the power button two times and see if that ends the call. The reason why I'm suggesting this is because after looking into this further around the communities I've seen reports of other people saying that the case on their iPhone was preventing the Sleep/Wake button from working properly, just in case if you did have an iPhone case on, if not it doesn't hurt to test it out.

If you are still having problems, let's try these troubleshooting steps. If you are still having problems after performing these steps please don't hesitate to let us know and we'll try to help you to get this resolved!

I hope this helps you. Again, I would like to apoligize that I couldn't help you out in the first time. It's my personal goal to help as quickly as possible because being a consumer myself, if I were having a problem I'd like to get it quickly resolved as well.
