Q: Why is it harder to right click on my magic mouse?
So here's the situation. I have a magic mouse (and wireless keyboard). My MacBook Pro died, so my company swapped it out for a new one (albeit with less RAM). Before the swap, it was easy to right click with my magic mouse. I would click on the right side of the mouse. Easy.
Now it is very hard. It just seems to be random. In some contexts, it acknowledges a right click. In others it just acknowledges a left click. Mostly, right click doesn't work. I did try fresh batteries. That didn't help. I right unpairing and repairing. That didn't help either.
I am CERTAIN that I am clicking far enough to the right as I am clicking on the very far right edge of the mouse.
My old laptop was on Mavericks. This one is on El Capitan. Not sure if that makes a difference or if there is another setting.
Please help!

Did you configure Mouse preferences to assign the right-click?
