    Hi

To turn off VoiceOver, first try:

    • Using Siri: press and hold the Digital Crown on your watch until Siri activates (confirmed via a tap on your wrist), then say: “Turn off VoiceOver.”
    • If the Accessibility Shortcut has been enabled and configured for VoiceOver: on your watch, quickly press the Digital Crown (the round button) three times.

If the previous suggestions do not resolve your issue, please clarify whether screen curtain is also turned on (ie the screen remains black).

Jonathan - thank you for responding. This didn't work. The watch was paired to my phone but I had to replace my iPhone 6s yesterday and after I downloaded everything back from the icloud the watch was unaired. I did try to pair it but it was not working. That is when I accidentally turned on voice over and yes the screen curtain is on. Suri keeps asking  for the unlock passcode and when I try to say it nothing happens. Tried your suggestion but nothing happened.

Find a quiet location, wear your watch on your wrist and follow these steps:

    • Press the Digital Crown on your watch > your watch will say "Enter passcode".
    • Although your screen is turned off, the active screen is now the Passcode entry screen, which looks like this:

    • Starting with the first digit of your passcode, tap where you estimate the first digit is located on your screen > your watch will say " <number> button ". This tells you which button you have tapped on, but the number has not yet been entered. If you did not find the right button, try again until you do.
    • Once you have found the right location for the first digit of your passcode, tap the same location again twice in quick succession (a double-tap) > your watch will say " <number> " (for example: "one"). This confirms that the first digit of your passcode has been entered.
    • Repeat the process for each of the remaining digits of your passcode.
    • If you make a mistake (for example, if your watch tells you that you have entered the number one, when you meant to enter a different number), locate the Delete button in the same way (tap once - at the lower-right corner - to find it, then tap twice in the same place to use it):

    • When you have finished entering your passcode, hold down the Digital Crown until you feel a tap on your wrist, then release it and say "turn off VoiceOver".

Once you have turned off VoiceOver, to prepare your watch for pairing with your replacement iPhone:

    - On your watch, go to: Home screen (when viewing the time, press the Digital Crown once) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.

You will then be able to pair your watch by following the standard set up process (choose to Restore from Backup if offered the option during setup).
