Can't restore iPhone 6 from backup on pc. "The IPhone could not be restored because there is not enough free space on the computer"

So for some reason i had to erase the data on my iPhone. I had created a backup using iTunes on my Windows PC. When i try to restore my iPhone after 8-10 mins it gives an estimate time of about 4 hours and starts restoring. But after 45 mins or so, i get this message "The iPhone could not be restored because there is not enough free space on the computer". I managed to get some more free space. And now there is 180gb free space on my PC and even cleared the recycle bin and it still gives me the same message. The iOS on the iPhone and the iTunes both are up-to-date with the latest software version.

I don't understand why it needs free space on PC when i am not even backing up but just restoring!

Need all the data back. Please help ASAP!

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2

The articles below may help if you've not had a chance to try the suggestions before. From what I could tell in the Apple Support Communities discussion, others are running into what sounds like the same problem you have. There are some suggestions for how to potentially fix the problem in the discussion, but I have not tried them as I have not run into the problem.
