Q: Is this email a fake?
I have just received what looks like an authentic Apple Store receipt for items I've not purchased. There's an option to cancel purchase but it requires my apple id that I'm not willing to enter unless I know it's genuine. How do I check the 'receipt's' validity?

I believe the email is likely to be fraudulent, do not click on any links in the email, read the following article for more help…
Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email - Apple Support
and forward the email to reportphishing@apple.com and delete it from your computer.
