Jul 2, 2016 8:46 AM in response to lovelindsaypaiby Ingo2711,Did you already try to force restart the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data.
Are these messages sent via iMessage from another iPhone or Apple device?
Did you compare the settings on yours and your husbands phone?

Jul 2, 2016 9:23 AM in response to Ingo2711by lovelindsaypai,Thanks for your reply. I did try force restarting and it didn't help. The messages are being sent via iMessage from another iPhone. I can send and receive text fine, and I can send pictures just not receive them. The problem seems to only be with iMessage, sending/receiving pictures from non-iPhones works fine. Message settings are the same on my phone and his, and we are both running the same version of iOS (9.3.2).
Any other ideas?

Jul 2, 2016 12:18 PM in response to lovelindsaypaiby Ingo2711,Did you try to log out of iMessage and log in again after that?
-
Jul 2, 2016 8:38 PM in response to Ingo2711by lovelindsaypai,Yes I tried that, still nothing. I logged out, toggled iMessage off and back on again, and logged back in. I'm still unable to receive pictures in iMessage when connected to wifi.

Jul 6, 2016 2:05 AM in response to lovelindsaypaiby Fizzoid,I'm having this exact same issue, only I can't send picture messages either...
Works on 4G, doesn't work on WiFi
I've tried logging out/in to iMessage, I've tried turning iMessage off and back on again, and I've even reset my phone's settings, but I'm having the issue still
It's not specific to the WiFi I'm connected to either, as I get it at work and at home

Jul 6, 2016 3:54 AM in response to lovelindsaypaiby Ingo2711,Did you try to enable 3G network instead of 4G before you connect to the Wi-Fi network?
-
Jul 6, 2016 4:17 AM in response to Ingo2711by Fizzoid,No, as this has previously never been an issue until a couple of days ago
Just turned WiFi off, turned 4G off and dropped on to 3G
Enabled WiFi, tried to send a picture message and I still have the same issue

Jul 6, 2016 11:56 AM in response to Ingo2711by lovelindsaypai,No restrictions are enabled. I've only tried my home wifi. What's weird is it worked briefly after I restarted my modem and router. I received two pictures and a video in iMessage with the wifi on, but a few minutes later I got tap to download boxes like it sent them each twice and it worked one time but not the other. I tried again after that and it went back to not working. I've tried toggling iMessage on and off, logging out and back in, force restarting.. pretty much anything I can think of and nothing works. I'm getting pretty frustrated with it

Jul 6, 2016 4:03 PM in response to lovelindsaypaiby derring do,Same problem for me on a 5S for the past couple of days. hadn't noticed any difference between Wifi and 4G, but will try that.
Can't send from the phone, and not receiving photos. On the iPad and the iMac, all is normal.
Annoying. Clearly NOT something we have done, but something which has been done "for" us.
