my touch screen will not work, i cant touch our slide anything so i cant turn off my phone or even get past the lock screen. screen is cracked but it worked perfectly fine with the cracks. it just randomly stopped.

okay thank you. i will do that, i just didnt know if i could do something with the phone before having to turn it in
You can try connecting it to the computer and doing an iTunes backup if you haven't done one in a while, and if you do iCloud backups, then connect the device to power and your wi-fi and lock the screen to allow it to take an iCloud backup.
