Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having issues showing Notifications on the lock screen is not what you expect. The following articles will be helpful in troubleshooting your issue:
1. First, make sure you don’t have Do Not Disturb enabled on your iPhone when this happens, as this can provide the behavior you're experiencing.
2. Next, I would try restarting your iPhone, as the shut down and start up process can resolve settings issues like yours.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
3. If those 2 steps do not resolve your issue, I would recommend making a backup of your personal data:
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
4. Once you have a backup, our next step is to Reset All Settings from Settings > General > Reset on your device. This resets all of your device’s settings like Wallpaper, Sounds, Display & Brightness, Background App Refresh, Date & Time, and removes all of your previously used Wi-Fi networks and passwords.
Cheers!
