What is the difference between the Outbox and Sentbox?

I sent a message with about 10 attachments, but when I looked in my Sentbox it wasn't there. So I looked in the Outbox and I found it. If it is in the Outbox, does that mean it is not being delivered?

Outbox holds items where you have clicked Send but they have not sent yet -- for example if you created a draft and sent it while you were not connected to the internet, it would remain in the Outbox until the next time you had an internet connection.

The e-mail you sent stayed in the outbox most likely because of the amount of attachments you were sending at once. When it is in the Outbox it can still go through.

I've waited a minute or two before for it to show up as sent.

Now, in your case, I would recommend instead of sending all 10 attachements at once, break them up into 3 or 4 differnet e-mails.

I've attached to many large audio files before and they got hung up in the outbox. But eventually they made it through.

Better to split it up sometimes. Until it goes to the sent folder they haven't received it yet.....

Hope that helps too.

Good Luck!
