Q: Browsing for Certified Refurbished Apple 5 IPhones

I am browsing through Amazon and E-bay in buying another Certified Refurbished IPhone that is a U.S. model with the camera shutter turned off and return the one that I currently have in which it is manufactured in Japan. There are some available, but it is out of my price range. Under Japan law, camera shutter sound cannot be turned down and off due to women's upskirt photography. Other countries have their own laws when it comes to communicating, recording videos and taking pictures. My guess some of the certified refurbished Iphones were manufactured from Japan and shipped it to the U.S. or to other countries. Since Apple no longer sells older model iPhones on their website and they are not reliable on the refurbished phones, it is very difficult to find a U.S. version of a certified refurbished iPhone.

iPhone 5, iOS 9.3.2, null

Why are you looking for answers here? This is an Apple sponsored forum. You're trying to by a used iPhone from questionable sources. Go ask whoever you're trying to buy it from where it came from.

I just want people's opinion with their suggestions. I think others who are reading this forum can understand the situation that I am going through. I do not want these people to make the same mistake that I am having if they were in my shoes. How would you feel if I bought this topic on this forum, but they do not know exactly what to do? I know this is an inappropriate place for me to discuss it on this form. If it were not for the Apple Technician for the discovery, I would have still kept the phone.

Not only did you post a version of this thread three days ago, in which you received the same suggestions as found in this thread, but you did not ask  technical support question this time around. These community forums are only for technical support questions, not general discussion, unless your question necessitates discussion, e.g. "Which portsble option works best for students; iPad Pro or MacBook Pro".

It is against the community rules to make duplicate posts, or general discussion topics. That being said, I recommended the iPhone SE in your previous iteration of this thread, and I stand by that recommendation. Apple does not currently sell refurbished phones, and any third-party vendor claiming to offer certified refurbished devices is either outright lying or misleading you. If you want to buy an iPhone, and your budget does not allow for the purchase of the phablet series devices (iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s+), then the iPhone SE would be an ideal device. Not only does the SE share the same design and form factor of the iPhone 5s, it also includes most of the same hardware found in the iPhone 6s, including the Apple A9, and a 12 megapixel iSight camera.

    Off the subject...

For technical support questions relating to iPhones and MAC computers, I would recommend you to ask an Apple Technician for help whether you have a major issue with the battery, your phone or your computer. Apple Technicians are professionals where they can help you resolve our issues 24/7. The community and myself are not Apple Technicians and it is okay for us to share our thoughts, ideas and opinions in resolving an issue and to our problem even if we did not ask a question. It is not just a community forum where people ask others questions, but it is also a discussion forum.  Thank you for your suggestion and advice. I know this post and my previous posts are too repetitive, but please do not criticized my posts because I do not know how to delete my own posts entirely.
