My wife has an iPhone 5s, but she wants more memory, so she is considering buying an iPhone 6s, either 64 gig or 128 gig. But we are concerned if the 128 gig will use a lot more battery than the 64 gig and therefore require frequent recharging. Does the 128 gig use a lot of battery? Are there any data on battery life for each of them?

iPhone storage capacity (Memory) will not make any difference in regard to battery life.
In the old days, more memory used more electricity because the dynamic ram was larger and needed refreshing. Are you saying this is NOT the case with the iPhone?
Storage is not dynamic RAM. The Storage chips use the same amount of power regardless of size. There is no difference in power usage between a 64GB iPhone and a 128GB iPhone.
Storage on an iPhone uses NandN flash memory which is non-volatile RAM. It only actually uses any power when actively reading from or writing to. Otherwise, it uses no power to maintain the last written state. All iPhone 6s models have exactly the same amount of dynamic volatile system RAM for running iOS processes and apps.
