magic mouse 2 does not indicate battery power level in bluetooth nor mouse preferences areas like all support areas seem to suggest.

Are you on 10.11.5 El Capitan. If so go to >

Systems Preferences > Mouse, and that screen should show the battery level in the bottom left corner.

Similarly, blurtooth should show the percentage as a link from the mouse's name. Have you named your mouse.

thank you, yes seemingly. although it has not shown anything other than 100% so far, and i read that someone had something similar go on... but i will not charge mouse and will use more today, if after 3 hours of use it still says 100% that would be suspicious. i do need to know this info, would not want to be stuck without mouse while having to charge it, but thank you, yes upgrading improved and allowed me to see the same thing people were claiming. will do one last update when i am sure...

Thanks for keeping us up to date. The Magic mouse 2 does not use very much power. Mine ran for three weeks with little loss. It actually only needs two minutes charging to give you something like 9 hours equivalent of batteries.
