Belkin YourType Wireless Keypad Not Working Properly

Hi guys

I bought my Belkin Bluetooth numeric pad from an Apple store over two years ago and once I got it paired, it worked exactly what I needed it for; to enable the keyboard shortcuts in the DAW software, Steinberg Cubase. Now I'm having all sorts of issues.Firstly when I press the buttons like the search button for example, this used to open up spotlight alongside Mac OSX's default shortcut of CMD+SPACEBAR. Now it does nothing except when the Finder windows is active it will point to the 'find' option under the 'View' menu.

What I have done is un-paired the device from my iMac 2011 21.5" and removed the batteries and re-inserted them. Weirdly though, the Mac pairs the keyboard to it without the need of a passphrase or pair key?? Is there a way I can remove it entirely from the system?

Some please help me out with this numeric pad please.

Any help appreciated

If your Wi-Fi is capable of generating a 5 GHz signal, try that.

Trackpad or Magic Trackpad is jumpy or erratic

Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time.

Sorry for the extremely late reply. Forgot to subscribe to the post via email; only came to mind when I come to use my iMac again.

I've clicked the X, but every time I re-pair, it connects automatically without asking for a pair passphrase. What's even more weird is it won't stay connected.

I'm going to turn my Wi-Fi and wireless phones to see if they are causing interference and update this post.
