Q: MP3's on PC do not show up on iOS devices

I subscribe to iTunes Match, and also iCloud, and in the past music on my PC iTunes would show up on Music on my iOS devices; however as of a few days ago, this doesn't seem to be happening anymore.  I purchased an album from another source (not Apple, since it was not available in iTunes store) and loaded it into iTunes on my PC (Windows 10).  The songs show up in iTunes (latest version, 12.4.1.6) but there they stop.  The tab for iTunes Match does not show up; nor do the songs ever show up on my iPhone or iPad (all latest version iOS).  What am I missing?  Is there no longer a way to do this; I'm quite sure I remember this being almost automatic the last time I tried it.

Thanks,

Jenna

To ask the obvious - I am presuming you are syncing the phone to the computer with the particular songs checked?

How much space is left available on the phone?

    Hi,

What do you mean - "the tab for iTunes Match does not show up." Have you looked in Preferences to see if iCloud music library is checked? What is the iCloud status of the new tracks?

    Hi Jim,

Yes, iCloud Music Library is/was checked in Preferences--but only on the PC iTunes, NOT on the iPhone music settings!  Your response prompted me to check into this, and when I enabled it on the phone, problem solved, and Thanks!!  I'm still a bit confused regarding the iCloud status of the new tracks (is there an indicator for that?) and for that matter, the status of iTunes Match as this new version of iTunes doesn't seem to show these items--at least, I cannot find them.  Used to be a little cloud icon by each track that was matched successfully, or a cloud icon with a line through it for those tracks which couldn't be matched--that entire column appears to be no longer present.

    Kind Regards,

    Jenna
