Q: restore new mac with Airport Time Capsule

Hello, when I google the title of this question I get nothing but how to restore with time machine. It's my understanding that time machine is a backup

of the system to the local drive. How to you do so with the ATC?

Time machine needs an external hard drive attached to create the backup files on

Thanks. Would you happen to know if I can look into the ATC? I tried clicking on it in Finder but to no avail.

wait, I though the ATC set up your new computer as is, function with the OS and all the applications. It's supposed to be
more than a file back up. If this is all it is I will use iCloud and sell it.
