Q: Only some pics load from iPhone to Photos on iMac

Photos opened up and I chose to import all new pictures on my iPhone. The process started and then I get the message that 200 some files are "unsupported" and cannot be loaded. After that it just stopped. I cannot get my vacation pics off my iPhone and into my Mac. Also, how can pictures and video that are taken on my iPhone be "unsupported" file types in Photos on a Mac?????

    Right now you are posting in the wrong type of support forums. Granted community had become unreadable with last update, I would recommend to try to find the part of the forum that helps with Photos on Mac problems and post your question there.

    Did you take the photos with the standard Camera.app or a third party camera.app on the iPhone?  Some smart cameras can safe the photos in a format that is not supported in photos, for example as high resolution TIFFs instead of as JPEGs.
