Hi,
The wifi icon is showing a cross and the drop down msg says "No hardware installed".
Have done SMC and NVRAM resets, and it worked few times but then the same problem.
Any solutions?

What does System Preferences > Wi-Fi say?
You'd better check with Apple Hardware Test and see if Wi-Fi related error report.
In the system preference> network there is no wifi interface.
i did the hardware test and it shows that "there may be issue in wifi hardware: Reference code CNW001"
As Apple Diagnostics: Reference codes - Apple Support says you'd better make Genius Bar appointment and show them about your problem.
My MacBook Air 13 inch, mid 2012 will not show wifi hardware connected. What is the Genius Bar appointment mentioned as a Apple recommendation ? Thanks -
