Time Machine not backing up migrated user files to new Mac (running El Capitan)

Hopefully someone can help here - I bought a new iMac and used the Migration feature to import my user folder from my previous Mac (running Mavericks) to the new one. This process went fine, no problems or issues with it, but Time Machine is not backing up the user folder on the new Mac.

I'm using the same external drive for Time Machine which I used to run Time Machine on my old Mac, there's plenty of space on it but my new user folder is not being backed up at all now. Is there anything that needs changing or altering with permissions, anything like that?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Thanks for that but nothing there helps unfortunately, though I can confirm that I selected "Inherit" when the option was there with the first run of Time Machine on the new Mac.

I did wonder if it was a permissions issue maybe, in Terminal they're currently listed as

drwxr-xr-x@ 42 Satis staff 1428 4 Jul 09:28 Satis (this is the troublesome account)

drwxrwxrwt 14 root wheel 476 12 Apr 12:31 Shared

drwxr-xr-x+ 11 simon staff 374 5 Apr 16:20 simon (this is second admin account that was set up for any troubleshooting purposes, Time Machine DOES back this account up)
