Q: why is my computer (macbook pro) not finding my printer?

Neither of our iphones or laptop are able to connect to my epson wireless printer. In the past (5 years) it has never been a problem. What is happenning? Please advise.

    Hello harvdog,

Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!

If I understand correctly, you are unable to print from any of your Apple devices to your Epson printer.  Being able to print from all your devices is a great feature of wireless printers.

Since the printer is not being recognized by any of your devices, it would appear that the issue is with the printer itself.  Wireless printers must be connected to the same wireless network that the devices that are trying to use it are connected to.  All printers connect differently, and the manufacturer should be able to provide you with instructions on how to connect to the network.  You may be able to find the information you need on the Epson Printer Support page.

If you continue to have issues, here is some more information on how to Resolve printer issues on your Mac.

    Cheers!
