Q: El Capitan Mail app

Is apple going to fix the broken Mail app?

 

Everything worked fine until I got my new iMac. After I used Migration Assistant to transfer all my settings, I could not get my POP accounts to work properly ( I can receive but not send mail). Up until then I was using El Capitain on my old (mid 2010) iMac with zero issues. So I got the idea of removing (deleting) both accounts ( I have 2) and then re-installing them by manually setting them up. I have all the data I need from my service provider (Rogers). So I used the minus symbol in the Accounts screen to remove the two accounts. I then created a new account using the old parameters and I get an error message saying the account already exists!

 

How can I find those two old accounts and delete them? They no longer show up in the accounts screen so I can access them to fix them...
