Jul 4, 2016 8:51 PM in response to Allison Pby Carolyn Samit,★HelpfulIt's not the Safari app itself that's a RAM problem. It's Safari extensions and third party plug-ins.

Jul 4, 2016 6:07 PM in response to Allison Pby Rysz,Safari is using too much memory ...
Says who? Some dingy software that is designed yo scare innocent users?
Mac OS X is very good at managing its own memory usage. You don't need, and should not use, any third party software for this purpose.

Jul 4, 2016 8:50 PM in response to Ryszby Allison P,I have used Memory Clean since 2011. I noticed my computer slowing down after using Safari in the past week and then I noticed that Memory Clean shows my available memory is super low. Sometimes it cleans by itself when it gets dangerously low. Right now it's at 3.99 GB...should be @10MB because it's the only app I have open currently with 2 windows. I did some research on web which told me to open Activity Monitor (came with my OS). Now it has changed to 2.97 GB!!!!

Jul 5, 2016 1:02 AM in response to Allison Pby Esquared,Should be plenty. Please try to make an Etrecheck report when the slowness occurs (and before you do anything with Memory Clean). Etrecheck is a free diagnostics tool created by a well respected member of these boards: http://etrecheck.com/
