Q: 5th Gen ipod stopped playing music in truck via USB

I have a 5th gen Ipod touch which I would connect to my 14' Silverado via USB to play music. It used to work perfectly fine. Recently it began to identify my ipod, displaying music info on stereo screen but would not play any audio. I finally updated to the IOS9.3.2 in hopes that would fix the problem but now it will not identify my ipod at all. My ipod gave me a pop up saying something that its not accessible, but I don't know what to change to make it accessible. HELP please!!

iPod touch, iOS 9.3.2, 5th gen

First, go to the car system manufacturer's support site and see if they are away of any problems.

    You can try:

    - Try another cable if configuration permits.

    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Reset the car system

    - Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    - Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility and an update to the car system firmware or iOS version is required to fix
