Q: RE: Starkey Halo pairing - shouldn't the pairing continue w/o dropping when HA are turned off at night then back on?
Trying Halo RIC now for several weeks. Can't keep it paired!
I can get it paired to both an iPhone and iPad even at the same time - but not easily. However, when I turn it off the whole frustrating process must be repeated the next morning.
Finally asked the Audi doc to set the HA button to the presets according to Apple. Did this because the TruLink app causes its own frustration and I think is more trouble than it's worth. Now, however, except for the presets, I can't adjust volume unless I do manage to get the pairing accomplished.
Pairing seems to be easier and more consistant if the battery is fresh - as in new.
On top of thinking the decision to purchase the HA is marginal anyway, the frustration with the supposedly benefits of the iPhone tends to make me think I'm buying more trouble than the slight hearing loss. Looking to the experience of this community to help.
SO my question: why is the pairing dropped? The pairing for the car, remote speakers, and other accessories are still shown, but the HA has to be repaired at least once a day.
