Final Cut Pro: The Share Operation "Master File" has failed.

When trying to export a short video I am receiving the following error. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

I've already tried creating new projects and restarting my MacBook.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Possibly something about the media format or a specific clip. Try a new empty project. Optimize one of the clips that's in your main project. See whether that will export.
