Jul 4, 2016 1:08 PM in response to Morgan Adams1by babowa,★HelpfulIf it isn't anything that may violate the ToU, how about you type your question in whatever word processing app you use and then take a screenshot of that. Drag that screenshot into your post window with an explanation.

That could be your problem right there.
There could be something in one of your variable names that is causing a problem. You could always try posting a screenshot.

Jul 4, 2016 1:08 PM in response to turingtest2by Morgan Adams1,Haha yes. But no violations, no variables (no programming code at all). It's a competely unremarkable English-language message. Yet I WAS able to post here, luckily.
I added a screenshot above in case it helps troubleshoot. Posting a screenshot there might work (?), but would be making hassle for the people I'm asking help of, so I'd rather solve things on my end if I can (or report a forum bug if one needs to be caught). An image is my last resort.
Thanks all!

Jul 4, 2016 1:13 PM in response to Morgan Adams1by babowa,There are so many bugs/glitches/whatever with the forum (Jive) software, that reporting one is not going to result in a quick fix. We've been working around them ever since they switched to Jive 2 or 3 years ago or so.
Do a screenshot so someone here can guess at what it is that is causing the error message. You could then work on that (like putting spaces in between characters or some such).

Jul 4, 2016 1:45 PM in response to Morgan Adams1by turingtest2,Let's see if I have any issue with the same text
I have my own account and apps, but I'm also a Unity-based freelancer and am about to build an app (iOS and Mac App Stores) using a client's developer account.
Is there anything I need to be careful of so my two accounts don't interfere with one another in Xcode?
Or, if I have the proper certificates in my Keychain, and choose the correct Team for each app, is that all there is to it?
Thanks in advance!
Seems not. Guess you'll have to put it down to "one of those things".

Jul 4, 2016 1:44 PM in response to turingtest2by Morgan Adams1,Thanks for typing that! Sounds like it's specific to certain subforums, and I'll just have to take a screenshot.

Jul 4, 2016 1:56 PM in response to Morgan Adams1by Morgan Adams1,Actually, I simply cannot post ANYTHING in any of the Xcode subforums.
I was able to post the same message just fine in this subforum (link). But obviously that's the wrong place.
What is my next step? Is there someone I can report this to?

Jul 4, 2016 1:59 PM in response to Morgan Adams1by turingtest2,I've asked for your other thread to be moved to the Developer Forums.
What is the URL for the forum you've been trying to post to?

Jul 4, 2016 2:02 PM in response to turingtest2by Morgan Adams1,Thanks!
I'd intended it for https://forums.developer.apple.com/community/xcode/capabilities-certificates-ide ntifiers-and-profiles but where you had is sent seems fine Many thanks!!
-
Jul 4, 2016 3:51 PM in response to Morgan Adams1by babowa,Just a guess, but if you'll look at the link you provided, there is a space in the word "ide ntifiers". That may or may not have anything to do with the problem?
-
Jul 4, 2016 4:09 PM in response to babowaby turingtest2,The space will be generated by the forum software here that breaks up any string longer than 80 characters.
The developer forums run on Jive 7, ASC runs on Jive 6. There will likely be differences in the configurations of any spam filtering which might explain why my copy of the text posted successfully.
