Using iPad as a monitor for iPhone video?

I would like to use the outstanding video camera on my iPhone 6 to record some videos but I would like to use my iPad as a monitor to set up the shots. Is there a way to do this? In a perfect situation I would love to be able to control the iPhone video from my iPad. If there was a way to at least frame the shot using the iPad as a monitor right now, that would work as well. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
