Strange noises when opening up from sleep + diagnose

What is making my macbook laptop make a "trash" noise whenver i wake the laptop from sleep. , it might be something to do with the airport or with the program Adium, im not sure - i can't figure it out though.

also - the low buzzing from the left keyboard is still common right? + the macbook firmware update does make your fan run at a constant low rate too correct?

The 'trash' noise is strage ...do you mean like emptying the trash? I run both Adium and Airport as well - no issues though. Could it be the CD drive resetting itself - if so this is normal.

What the update does is not specific - Apple won't tell you the details aside from saying it'll address general issues.

And yes, the buzzing is the CPU. Sometimes I notice it and sometimes I don't.

(and sometimes I wish I didn't)
