Q: when i press download profile it keeps giving me an error message and i don't know what to do

when i press download profile it gives me an error that says safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error and i don't know what to do

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.2

You can't download files through Safari. PDFs are about the only exception I know of.

You should be able to download an iOS Profile through Safari, with a couple of exceptions:
If the profile or a similar one exists, you will have to delete it first
If your phone has a corporate MS Exchange account on it your administrator or IT department may have blocked installing profiles.
