Q: after pan mode sound chosen how to turn the mic to stereo?

i am using final cut pro x editing a shot with sound from two different miss. After I choose to use one (neck mic ) by using the pan mode i have a problem - how can I turn this mic into stereo - help ???

YYou select the mic you want using channel configuration not pan.

that still does not work i have this showing my recording of neck mic is on the left of stereo pan mode, the channel configuration has a small 2mic and i need to use only the one

IF they truly on separate channel switch the stereo to dual mono, you should be able to select them separately, unless there is something strange in the recording.
