    Hello, jayantg,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that your GPS service has stopped working after updating to iOS 9.3.2. I use the Location Services on my iPhone as well, so I know how important it is we get this issue resolved. I have something that i'd like you to try.

Use About privacy and Location Services, and make sure Location Services is enabled, and learn how to Improve GPS accuracy, specifically, these two sections:

Turn Location Services on or off

You can turn Location Services on or off at Settings > Privacy > Location Services. You can turn Location Services on either during the Setup Assistant process or later through the Location Services setting. You can individually control which apps and system services have access to Location Services data. When Location Services are off, apps can't use your location in the foreground or background. This will limit the performance of various Apple and third-party apps.

Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services.

    Improve GPS accuracy

GPS accuracy varies depending on the number of visible GPS satellites. Locating all visible satellites can take several minutes, with accuracy gradually increasing over time. Use these tips to improve GPS accuracy:

    • Make sure that you've set the date, time, and time zone correctly on the device in Settings > General > Date & Time. If possible, use Set Automatically.
Important: Incorrect settings on your computer can sync to your device. Verify the date, time, and time zone on any computer that syncs with your device.
    • Restart your device.
    • Verify that you have a cellular or Wi-Fi network connection. This allows the Assisted GPS (A-GPS) on the device to locate visible GPS satellites faster, in addition to providing initial location information using the Wi-Fi or cellular networks.
Microcells (sometimes called Femtocells) aren't supported with Location Services.
    • Keep a clear view of the horizon in several directions. Keep in mind that walls, vehicle roofs, tall buildings, mountains, and other obstructions can block line of sight to GPS satellites. When this occurs, your device will automatically use Wi-Fi or cellular networks to determine your position until the GPS satellites are visible again.

    All the best.

    Hi jayantg,

I advise to check the Apple Maps app first, and see if the Location Services and GPS is working fine for that app. If you still have an issue with that app and Location Services, please contact Apple Support for assistance using the link below:

    Contact Apple Support

If this issue is now only with the Google Maps app, I have a link to share with you, and would advise to contact Google directly for assistance with the Google Maps app:

    Google Maps Help

    Best Regards.

In my case I had issue with Gps for  waze. After I removed google maps it started working.  Try removing other navigation app you don't need...

I had the same problem. My Apple Maps and Google Maps work fine when I'm connected to wifi. But on cellular data, none of the navigation apps worked. Apple Tech Support and multiple "Geniuses" were stumped. Then I stumbled on this and it worked!: Sarah_s1 suggestion is pretty close to the one I used that actually fixed the problem. But Sarah_s1 has you going to SYSTEM SERVICES (the very bottom of the LOCATION SERVICES screen). I didn't find my problem there. Here's what I did:

SETTINGS>PRIVACY>LOCATION SERVICES>make sure Location Services is toggled ON. Then in the middle of this screen: SHARE MY LOCATION>make sure Share My Location is toggled ON. If you found any of these to be toggled OFF then that was your problem (just like me).

Now my Apple Maps and Google Maps work just fine. Hope it works for you too!
