Q: resetting my iphone

I dropped my phone and can't see any of my screen, but i have to return it to asurian which is my insurance company because i got a new one. I want to reset my iphone before giving it back because I don't want them to have any information thats on my iphone. Is there any possible way of resetting my iphone to factory setting on my laptop since i can't see my iphone screen.

Erasing the content via iCloud might also work, in case you'll have to put in your passcode on the phone, and you can't see the numbers, due to the broken screen:
