Bluetooth drops connection on iOS 9 using iPhone 6 paired with 2014 Honda CRV

I have a 2014 Honda CRV and an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS (9.3.2). My Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. I only use the Bluetooth for phone calls in the car (for hands free). I had a iPhone 4s paired to the car before an no issues. I have searched forums for both Honda and Apple for this issue and tried everything, such as deleting the phone from the car, deleting the car from the phone, resetting the network connection. This has been happening since I have had the phone, but seems to have gotten worse. i.e. on a 10 minute drive I have the phone un-pair 3 times. I kept hearing that the next iOS update would fix the issue, but it never has.

I took the iPhone into an Apple store and they say nothing is wrong with the phone (as it connected to and stayed paired with a speaker).

I believe the issue is with both the car and the phone as a system.

If anyone has ever figured out how to resolve this, your help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi ive099!

I understand your Honda CRV and iPhone aren't playing nice where Bluetooth is concerned. I know it's important to have Bluetooth working correctly in your car, and I'm happy to offer some possible solutions. Please follow all of the recommendations in this support article, including contacting Honda to see if there is a firmware update available:
