Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!
If I understand correctly, you are unable to start up the MacBook Pro using either Windows or OS X. I know how important our computers are and the need to get it working again.
Let's begin by working on getting the MacBook Pro to start using OS X. First, let's try Safe Mode. Here is how to start the computer in safe mode:
- Press the power button.
- Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key. You should press the Shift key as soon as possible after you hear the startup tone, but not before.
- Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.
To leave safe mode, restart your Mac again, but don’t hold down any keys during startup.More information about safe mode can be located here:
Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up
If the system starts up in safe mode then you can try and restart the computer again in regular mode.
If the system is still not starting, the next thing I would do is to start in Recovery Mode and run a disk repair.
Disk Utility (El Capitan): Repair a disk
If the system still will not start after the disk repair, the next step would be to reinstall OS X.
How to reinstall OS X on your Mac
Use the "Reinstall OS X from Recovery section."
Hope you have a great day!
