Jul 5, 2016 7:41 AM in response to Verynice17by ChrisJ4203,I would think this may be a subscription type of app, or you had agreed to an in-app purchase. What app are you referring to?

Jul 5, 2016 11:16 AM in response to Verynice17by ChrisJ4203,Not knowing where you are located, I looked up in the US App Store, and found an app called Everalbum which appears to be an app regarding photo storage. Not sure if this is the one that you are referring to or not. This app has in-app purchases, and I'm guessing that if you are being charged for something, that is what it is. Downloading the app alone is not a paid app.
I suggest that you contact the app developer's support to ask about what you may have done, or you can use this link to find it in your purchases and cancel any recurring charges. View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support You would then have to use this link to see if it is possible to get a refund. https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

Jul 5, 2016 11:26 AM in response to Verynice17by ChrisJ4203,Certain apps, designed by developers, allow for users to download their apps for free, but allow for the purchase of premium content, either to access additional storage, additional features, or other things, depending on the application. If you inadvertently made an in-app purchase, I suggest that on your phone, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Password Settings, and check the section for Purchases and In-App Purchases. I would set that for Always Require, so you are not making any in-app purchases without your knowledge.

Jul 5, 2016 11:39 AM in response to Verynice17by ChrisJ4203,It will still prompt for a password for an in-app purchase. It is up to you how you set it for free purchases, but it will not affect the in-app purchases if you set it to no.

Jul 5, 2016 1:35 PM in response to Verynice17by critterden, use the card you get from the stores. and keep a balance of 15.00 or so. that way you are covered for all sorts of small things. but can't get into this sort of thing. sometimes they are hard to get out of.

Jul 7, 2016 12:28 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by Verynice17,okay I did everything I could for my iPhone doesn't download in app purchase apps and everytime I click on one it still works and doesn't require me to put in the password I just don't understand I even put restrictions on...

Jul 7, 2016 7:32 AM in response to Verynice17by ChrisJ4203,What and where are you clicking on something and you are saying it still works? If you activated Restrictions in Settings, you need to turn off In-App Purchases to restrict them. Turning it off means they are not allowed.
