Q: Mag Safe 2 Charger what color should the light be?

Mag Safe 2 what color should the light be? I'm charging and it is working but should that light be red or green?

MACBOOK AIR (11-INCH, EARLY 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

A:

There are only two colors. One is GREEN and the other is called AMBER, RED, ORANGE and perhaps some other variation.

Mine is amber when charging and green when it is fully charged.

AMBER is when the battery is being charged and powering the MBA if it is turned on.

GREEN is when the battery is fully charged (and is not charging the battery) and powering the MBA if it is turned on.

What does red mean? Am I seeing red but it is really "amber"? I thought amber was more yellow. Are there only two colors possible?
